Property and Home Maintenance Management
Workshop
Nanaimo, October 31st - November 1st, 2016
This two-day interactive workshop discusses a community approach to property and home maintenance management and includes learning how to:
- Ensure that policies are in place to share the responsibilities of home maintenance;
- Identify priority maintenance items; and
- Carry out maintenance with limited budgets.

Prerequisite
We encourage attendees to participate in CMHC’s Identifying Housing Maintenance Needs prior to this course. In order to participate in this workshop, you will also need to have access to the following information for at least three housing phases:
The year it was constructed;
The program it was constructed under (e.g. Section 95, Section 10, etc.)
The number of units in the project;
Annual maintenance/repair budgets;
Unit condition reports for units within the project; and
Cost estimates of the repair items noted in the unit condition report
