Identifying Home Maintenance Needs

WHAT?            A two day session, including an on-site house inspection that will give participants knowledge and confidence to perform housing maintenance condition reviews.


The session will cover how to:

  • Identify housing maintenance and repair needs

  • Prioritize repair needs

  • Estimate the cost of repairs

  • Complete a maintenance condition review and summary report


WHO?             First Nations leadership, housing staff and maintenance staff.

Workshop Speakers

Norbert Koeck of Blue Heron Consulting Services will join us to share his expertise. Norbert is a consultant and trainer with 25 years of experience in the development, delivery and administration of housing and community development initiatives. He provides training for First Nations on housing administration and management, as well as technical workshops on housing quality.
