The purpose of the Electoral Officer training sessions is to teach attendees how to conduct First Nations Chief & Council elections, according to the Indian Act Election Regulations and/or the First Nations Election Act regulations. Course material will cover best practices, outline common and unusual situations that may be encountered, and include extensive discussion on the practical applications of what is being taught.
REGISTRATION:
1 participant from each First Nations community or Tribal Council will be reimbursed for travel expenses (meals, transportation, and accommodation). This is a first come first served event and as such attendance is limited. A maximum of 2 attendees per First Nations community are eligible to attend and only 1 representative is eligible to submit for travel reimbursement.
