Wednesday, September 10th, 2014
The session will build awareness of the NAHS and provide support to communities interested in preparing an application for 2015/16 funding cycle (applications are due October 15th, 2014)
Workshop Objectives
AANDC BC Region's New Approach for Housing Support (NAHS) aims to align AANDC funding in a way that supports First Nations in developing and implementing long-term, viable housing strategies that reflect community needs.
This approach supports 3 separate, but complimentary, “Streams”:
Stream 1: Planning, Policy Development, Training and Capacity Building
Stream 2: Multi-year Project
Stream 3: Lot Development
The 2014/15 fiscal year is the first year of implementing funding for NAHS and preparations for 2015/16 implementation are underway. This session will provide opportunity to:
-
Build awareness of objectives and criteria for NAHS
-

-
Provide an opportunity for sharing and networking
