2018 CCP Workshop 

October 10th - 12th 2018

Kitsumkalum First Nation and Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) are co-hosting the 2018 Comprehensive Community Planning (CCP) Workshop at the Kitsumkalum Hall in Terrace, BC, October 10th-12th, 2018. The goal of the workshop is to bring together people to share lessons learned and best practices around CCP. Capacity building and First Nation-to-First Nation learning are the anchoring principles of this workshop. The workshop theme is "Grounding Planning in Culture", focusing on the ways in which community-based planning processes can revitalize cultural practices and bring the old ways into the new world.

WHY should we go?

Through Comprehensive Community Planning (CCP), many First Nations in BC are using a cultural, holistic approach to develop and implement the visions and goals of their communities. Come to the 2018 CCP Workshop to learn more about how to make this type of planning work for your community.

WHAT will we do? 

The CCP Workshop will offer a variety of interactive sessions and events, including presentations, small group activities, workshops, community tour, cultural evening, and the opportunity to meet with First Nations and organizations from across BC.
